Johnny Earl Landrum 73 of East Dublin, entered into eternal rest, Sunday morning, May 7, 2017 at his residence, after an extended illness. A native of Laurens County, Mr. Landrum was born October 18, 1943 to the late Gilbert and Cynthia Ussery  Landrum. He served his country during the Vietnam Era in the Army. After Mr. Landrum got out of service in 1965 and decided it was time to settle down. In 1968 wedding bells rang out for Johnny and Betty Townsend. He loved to fish when he was able. Mr. Landrum was a painter by trade and was raised up in the Christian religion.

Mr. Landrum was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Cynthia Landrum; three sisters, Lila Mae Tarpley, Lizzie Mae Echols, and Emma Jane Knight; two brothers, Bob and James Landrum.

Graveside services will be held at Blue Spring Baptist Church Cemetery in Rockledge, GA May 10, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. Rev Thad Kennison will be the officiating minister.

Mr. Landrum is survived by his wife, Betty Townsend Landrum of East Dublin; one daughter, Michelle Nobles of East Dublin; two grandchildren, Haley and Noah Nobles both of East Dublin; one brother, Freddie Landrum (Ruth) of East Dublin; two sisters, Catherine Landrum and Rita Parker both of East Dublin, numerous nieces and nephews.

Brantley Funeral Home of Wrightsville has charge of arrangements for Johnny Earl Landrum.
