DUBLIN, GA

Grover Lee Strader, 75 of Dublin, passed away, Saturday night, December 2, 2017 after an extended Illness. Mr. Strader was born, March 22, 1942 in Kansas City, MO to the late Grover Edgar and Nellie Ann Pierce Strader. Mr. Strader was employed with Construction Design, Inc for 17 years in Construction. He was a member of the local union worker number 1290.

Mr. Strader was very active in his church. He worked with the Teen Ministry Program for Troubled Youth. He drove the church bus to make sure that everybody was at church that wanted to be there. He made beautiful woodcarvings. He was a very kind and gentle man. He looked forward everyday to be able to come home to his loving wife. He thanked God for a true and loyal Christian women. He was Protestant by faith.

Memorial services will be held by the family at a later date.

Mr. Strader was survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Kathryn Strader of Dublin; three daughters, Laura Lee (Dustin) Foote of Pleasant Hills, MO, Cindy Kay (Raymond) Sheffield of Rentz, GA, and Shelley Marie (Mark) Hutchison of Pleasant Hill, MO; two brothers, Richard (Goldie) Strader of Raymore, MO, and Ronald Dean (Gail) Strader of Kansas City, MO; one sister, Sandy (Everett) Jennings of Kansas City, MO., five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
